Here are some more photos of the flat I have found after a deeply frustrating five-month wait. The delay was lengthened by the fact that I stopped looking after being told the apartment I had initially chosen, back in early November, would be ready "before the end of next month". Then, in turn, "by Jan 1", "Feb 1", "March 1". An English lady in property tells me there is no malice or dishonesty in the false completion dates. People just say what they think will please you. Suffice it to say that the colleague who has taken my original flat visited the site a few days ago and thinks the latest promise-to-please - April 1 - is looking seriously optimistic.
